DBC awards honor active members who have demonstrated leadership and service in the field of nutrition and dietetics, and worked toward the promotion of food and nutrition professionals involved in business and communication.

1 Outstanding Leader and 1 Rising Leader are recognized each year. Awardees receive a commemorative item or monetary gift ($100) and complimentary registration to the next DBC FNCE® event where DBC will present the award to the recipients.

These award nominations generally open in April of each year, with volunteers from the DBC leadership team evaluating and selecting the awardees through a blinded review process. Check back here or stay tuned to the latest info in DBC’s monthly Take 5 Newsletter.
