DBC Member Award Winners at FNCE® 2025

We are excited to announce the 2025 DBC Member Award recipients! This past weekend at FNCE®, we proudly recognized two outstanding leaders for their remarkable contributions and impact in the field.

Congratulations to Manju Karkare, MD, RDN, LDN, CLT, FAND, recipient of the DBC Outstanding Leader Award.

We celebrate their dedication, leadership, and commitment to advancing our profession!

DBC awards honor active members who have demonstrated leadership and service in the field of nutrition and dietetics, and worked toward the promotion of food and nutrition professionals involved in business and communication.

The "Outstanding Leader Award" and the "Rising Leader Award" are recognized each year. One awardee from each will receive a commemorative item or monetary gift ($100) and a complimentary registration to the next DBC FNCE® event where DBC will present the award to the recipients.

These award nominations generally open in April of each year, with volunteers from the DBC leadership team evaluating and selecting the awardees through a blinded review process.
