Academy Foundation

The Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics Foundation is the only charitable organization devoted exclusively to supporting nutrition and dietetics professionals by empowering them to help consumers live healthier lifestyles. The Foundation serves as the philanthropic arm of the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics and does not receive any portion of member dues, relying solely on donations to thrive.

DBC supports The Foundation through annual fundraisers and matching campaigns. Now through April 12, DBC’s fundraising efforts benefitting the Foundation Disaster Relief Program. A gift to the Disaster Relief Fund provides support for your fellow Academy members in need during a natural disaster or life changing event. DBC will match up to $500 in donations and additional gift-matching has been secured to elevate these efforts.

Since 2018, the Foundation awarded over $454,000 in scholarship, award, and fellowship funding to 44 current Dietitians in Business and Communications DPG members.
