DBC Founders & Circle Awards

Each year Dietitians in Business and Communications (DBC) DPG bestows the Founder's Award and the Circle Award, honoring two members for their outstanding contributions to the DPG. The Founder's Award is given to an individual who has impacted the inner structure and foundation of DBC, its strategy and direction. The Circle Award is given to an individual who has made a multi-faceted difference to DBC, truly providing an all-around service to the organization.

DBC "Friend for Life" Award

The DBC “Friend for Life” Award: Cindy Parker
Cindy has attended and actively participated in Executive Committee planning and FNCE meetings for the past two years and has been an integral part of the DBC Sponsorship Committee, raising approximately half of our yearly sponsorship revenues. She also serves as the friends of DBC representative. Cindy has worked for Basic American Foods for 22 years, and has been in her current position as a national account sales manager, focusing on health care for the past eight years.
